To be honest, though? This goes together like sewage and more sewage for me. Give me Papa John's any day.
Hatsune Miku Counts as SEGA right? if so.... check this out...

I think "Scott" is the CEO of Domino's, which explains why they're using the most 'old rich white guy' they could find for their commercial. I still don't know how Domino's got involved. But hey, apparently Code Geass had a promotion with Pizza Hut over there at one point, so...

I found the commercial I was thinking of earlier. I was completely wrong, though. It wasn't Geico, it was Toyota. I knew it had something to do with cars. This one is less creepy, but it makes about as much sense as Miku and Pizza.

Oh God. I was hoping that Miku would become more mainstream in the US, but... I didn't want this...
I'm sorry that you had to see this, Retro.

Totally agree with you guys. ;__; These videos have me thinking, "What am I doing on the weird part of Youtube again?". The hotdog commercial was still kinda random, but not quite as bad as the others posted here.
I love Miku to pieces and watch videos of her dancing in Project DIVA games in the corner of my desktop at all times, but these commercial videos just weird me out, badly. I can't even watch them all the way through from the sheer WTFery of the random plugs. I want to use the Psyduck smilies, but spamming dozens of them wouldn't be enough! I mean, if they wanted to plug Miku into a TV commercial, why not have her dance in a work uniform with real life chefs in the kitchen or something? Anything would have made more sense than what I'm seeing right now.

why is there an american guy advertising in English for Hatsune Miku..... in japan?
is this some sort of comedic meme for japan, kinda like how we laugh at japan's advertising sometimes?
I am having strong haunches that Japanese speakers are laughing at this for different reasons than English speakers.... or am I being paraloid?

According to Kotaku, Scott Oellkers was previously an executive with Dominos Taiwan before becoming president of Dominos Japan, and in Taiwan he was something of a celebrity as he appeared in all their commercials just like this (except he was speaking Chinese). Apparently in Japan they're really weirded out by this commercial, though. Guess he's not as popular in Japan as he was in Taiwan.

ah ok, yeah it's all making sense now, lol I can definitely see how one would be weirded out -especially with the way YTP made him look lol..

An easy buck, obviously.
And it worked wonders.
Now, does anyone wanna hack Hatsune Miku into "Yo! Noid"?

That was terrible.... I can't stop cracking up at this.
Edit: Though, I can't really act like I've never liked a Hatsune Miku crossover before...

Blue Pizza puke "?!"
Anyways,
I'm surprised she doesn't have a 2.5D platforming game by now to replace Sonic, Seeing as how hot this is in Japan.
