I remember watching that back in the day. Looks pretty snazzy for a DS game. Looking forward to what this will be, hopefully something interesting. On a side note why's it sound like pacman in the video O_o

It had been pointed out to me that the render's mouth can't make its mind up whether or not it's happy or angry:

SEASIDE HILL: THE GAME
Also, you now realize Sonic's render has a single buck tooth like Timmy Turner.

I don't see the big deal about the render. At least its not a hardening grin like the Sonic 4 ones. Besides he's been having muddy looking shoes since Unleashed/06 era.

The Sonic Stadium has reported that Sonic Dash launches this Thursday.
I didn't expect the game to be released so soon. We don't even have any footage or screenshots yet.

It is just a personal irritation of mine that the characters have muddy shoes, such a minor concern compared to his expression which only seem to happen on "lower budget" games. He doesn't look uncertain in the main titles.

Can't wait for this, seems like it'll be similar to the new Pitfall! game on iOS. That Zaxxon Escape game was cool too.

Oh man...I had no idea they'd made a Pitfall! game for iOS. Downloaded instantly. Massively happy its free.
Sonic Dash needs to be free too, IMO.
The Temple Run games are free too, after all. (I just made a typo that amused me and wrote Sonic Cash just then..perhaps that is a sign..)

The story revolves around Sonic dashing to the dentist to get that gingivitis looked at, I hope. Poor guy, you gotta brush after all those chili dogs.

Not happening. Sega's hurting for cash right now, there's no way they'd pass up charging for an Instant massive seller like this. They'd be stupid to charge more than a buck, though.

No they aren't, Sega Sammy had quite a bit of cash to spend back when they bought Relic earlier this year, and seemingly they still do.

iOS games usually get released a few weeks after their announcements. A few days is quite rare.

I'm actually quite curious about this, I keep hearing both things- that SEGA/Sammy is in loss of money (mostly because of Sammy), and that SEGA/Sammy are doing fine. Do we actually know what's going on?

SEGA Sammy had two billion in cash reserves when they bought Relic. Unless they decided to spend all that money on cocaine, they're fine. IIRC Sammy is doing really well in Japan because of their Pachinko machines and SEGA is the one in trouble.
