thank you very much for your message and backing, hope we get funded, too!
We have our problems to understand why most of the people don't see for
what they can pledge.
The posters and canvas-artwork is made by Michael Musal, an artist who is
an original student of Norman Rockwell - his pictures are very expensive and
mostly sold - for the moment there is not one picture of him buyable.
The pictures
of his teacher Norman Rockwell go for millions.
And the music is made by Chris Huelsbeck. Just for his Turrican-Anthology,
only the music, the people backed him up here in Kickstarter with more
than 175.000 USD -> have look here:
And he composed and mixed for us 10 new works and 3 more
with Fabian del Priore for a lot of money!
And our programmers are teaching at the TechUniversity of Darmstadt with
Fraunhoffer, one of the TopTen-IT-Universities of the world -> Flatscreens
and MP3 were founded there.
I don't think they get that the game itself is the problem, not the graphics/sound people. I didn't see much to be interested in, I mean, if you've seen one topdown RPG, you've seen them all, pretty much. This looks completely bland, not adding anything new or interesting, rather blending existing tropes and gameplay.
Despite having some unmistakable talent behind the project, I think they'll struggle to meet their optimistic £35,000 target.
I pledged anyway, looks interesting AND IT'S NOT A SHOOTER
Also, Yuan Works (responsible for Wind and Water Puzzle Battles) is working on a platformer that *could* be converted to Dreamcast, but they aren't sure if they'll go down that road.
It's been 4 years since the last puzzler, and there are clearly some zelda-esque gameplay elements (if seemingly rather basic). It is trying to offer something a little different from the norm, but I must admit that I'm not as excited about it to the same level as Pier Solar HD (and I already own Pier Solar SD).

Our reconnaissance drones have detected 16 promising locations for our search of „Mother“, the planet of our living ancestors. After several development steps by Duranik and redspotgames the launch date for your mission is clear.
Sturmwind pilots, your all-dominant mission will begin on April 24th 2013. All documents will be sent to you until this very date.
Fight over 20 boss enemies in 16 levels. In addition to the so-called “Award Trophy System”, there will also be an internet highscore list in which your performance can compete against each other worldwide. Your wings of steel are now our last resort.
Stay ready for further instructions. Over and out.

Is it wrong that I see Eggfan as some sort of Dreamcast Segata Sanshiro, going around beating up children who have foolishly scorned playing Dreamcast games for other pursuits?
