Strange problem with Sonic Adventure in Demul 0.5.6

The problem lies with Windy Valley when playing as Sonic. (no problems when playing as Tails)
I can get through the first two sections just fine, but in the third, whenever I try to go across the first loop (past the rocket), Sonic always falls off the top to his doom!

Could be the ROM, could be the emulator. I'd try Demul 0.5.7, then trying another ROM.

I have tried multiple ISOs already. As for Demul 0.5.7, I can't get it to work.
