Question, not sure if anyone can help me with something. I was wondering if it's possible to:
- Upload a portion of an excel sheet to be displayed on a website, &
- To make it interactive (e.g. click a box, type something in it, etc.)

I understand that there is a Microsoft Excel Web App from their website available, however it requires uploading the file to SkyDrive, or something to that effect. Instead, I would like to use my account on a web server to place the file on it, and then have it edited/saved on the server. Basically, without using that app, and instead write the webpage using HTML.

Also, the excel sheet in question has several boxes with IF functions that work by inputting a value in certain boxes. So those IF functions have to work too. And scrolling too...

Is it...possible to do?

If you need more information about what I'm doing with the excel sheet, please let me know, and perhaps I can elaborate further (or upload the excel sheet).

Perhaps Google Docs has the functionality you require? It's web-based and I've heard it's good for collaborative projects.

^^ This! I've used google docs for collaborative projects and it works flawless, you can even lock sheets but unfortunatelly you can't do the same for specific rows or collums last time I checked.

Thanks for the recommendation to use GoogleDocs. I've been testing it, although I don't think it'll be suitable for the function I was aiming for. Anyway, I'll keep working on it, maybe even trying something else.

I don't know exactly what you're trying to do but if your problem is "people messing with the formulas" you can always put them on a separate locked sheet.

Here is an interactive spreadsheet I created for an online game I was playing: http://goo.gl/mf9cG it uses a combination of function to parse the shareable links of a raid.

No, that's not the issue. Here's what it is.

There's this website I've made, and I was meaning to place an excel sheet that can be added onto. This is the website in question.

Here is a mock of what I'd like to place:

All the functions to make the excel sheet work. For example, on excel, I can protect the sheet from being changed aside from some boxes that could be played with (e.g. like those shown under "Your Guesses", "Reveal Puzzle", etc.). On the webpage itself however, I cannot click and point to those particular boxes to change it. (e.g. the sheet shows up like a picture without any parts that can be added to or deleted, like typing or erasing text). Is there a way to make the sheet adjustable, or will it remain static?

I was hoping to consolidate the excel sheet with the stuff shown there, without having to switch back and forth from the webpage to the excel sheet.
