€57, including P&P to Europe. Bit too pricey for me to buy just as a display piece, but really awesome that it even exists!

It is cool that such a old console is still being supported. I always enjoy hearing about Dreamcast getting new games too.

You could always get the tape version OL, only €15

My name's on the pre-order list.

You mean . . . This isn't a joke? I cracked up when they showcased the multiplayer mode . . .

I don't see why not, SMS1 was region-free, but the cartridges have different dimensions and pin outs, so you'd have to modify your cart slot if you've got a western model.

indeed

These sorts of projects aren't uncommon, but I think this is the first time something like this has happened for the SG-1000. Usually it's all Atari 2600 or Intellivision - the SG-1000 doesn't have many friends

And even then it's not that amazing - Astro Dodge has been brought to several platforms by this team and seems more of a techical exercise than something like... Christmas Carol vs. the Ghosts of Christmas Presents. Great thing to see though

My SMS1 has a cart-slot on the front, I'm not sure what it's for?

True I guess, though a new SC-3000 tape isn't quite as neat as an SG-1000 cart.

That's the Sega Card slot. Not the same as a Japanese cartridge.
