Yeah, sorry about that. Life, PSO2, and laziness got in the way. (Though not necessarily in that order)

The announcement is that the game is proceeding smoothly, will be released by August 26th at the very latest, and that I made a kicking rad new trailer!


As you can see there is a 2P versus mode, Circus Park from Shadow the Hedgehog with a Carnival Night throwback for classic and an intense realistic shooter gameplay style and hud for modern (complete with red jelly), and the 3rd boss reveal if you don't blink.
The trailer also shows off a couple of friends that you will be forced to rescue. After you beat a boss or both acts of a stage, that boss/stage's friend will appear outside of it. You can talk to friends by pressing the up key. They will not help you whatsoever.

Do any of you guys have fan characters? I need more of them to include aside from Sonichu, Tweaker, Shitglove the Hedgehog, and a handful of characters from the Sonic Fan Character Wiki. (Yes, that's a Thing)

And just so you have something to do, here's some teasers for a few unannounced things. See if you can guess what they are:

New Stage - 10 letters long, was hard to find terrible music for.
New Rival - As it turns out, a lot of things can possibly go wrong.
New Friend - _A_E M_ _ _ _ _
New Feature - Unlock this track for each stage by collecting every red ring.

That trailer alone is enough to convince me of the pure power of this game. I can sense tears ahead, for that looks like it'll be one mightily emotional tale.

Aww...it's alright man, I can wait for it a bit more. So the game is almost done? That's nice to hear if it is, you can't really say that about A LOT of Sonic fangames, since most of those that are around the internet are 1 - 2 Zone demos of games that are never finished, ever. As hilarious as the game is at least it will BE a finished fangame, and that's saying something.

Also nice demo, End of the world is HILARIOUS, and the 2P games are a nice touch.

Great effort, but c'mon... Sonic Jam on the Game.com was MUCH worse than that! I also loved THAT TORNADO'S CARRYING A CAR~! Really can't wait for this; one'a my most anticipated games this year!

Eventually. The school semester started for me and I got busy with writing and homework. Occasionally I've been learning After Effects with my bro Stuff3 and making some videos though.

I told you, it was a rumor.
Another more trustworthy rumor is that family came in for the holidays and interrupted the arcane boss/cutscene creation ritual that I had been putting off for a semester.

A rough estimate of the progress I've made:
System: 70%
Levels: 90%
Bosses/Rivals: 20%
Cutscenes: 10%
Multiplayer: 100%
Other stuff: ???% (I mostly keep adding shit whenever I come up with it)

So if I have a few days alone and stop myself from getting and adding ideas, I could probably finish it. I'd love to spend a ton of time increasing the amount of content but I need to get working on actual games.
