I honestly expected this to be more bad fan fiction, but this was actually fun to watch. It was well written and drawn and felt like a saturday morning cartoon, which is what Sonic stories should be like IMO.

Echoing the praise here; this is really nice, and well put together. If 2012 were spent animating the thing to a decent enough standard, then we'd have a nice little Christmas present for next year.

If my math is correct, which it always is, Sonic's father is obviously a playa. Wouldn't surprise me if Shadow, Amy and whomever else is a borderline official palette-swap all had the same father as Sonic.

Basically this. It totally felt like a Sat. morning cartoon. And the best part is, you took all the best elements of each series and fused them together. You had the main canon, both classic and modern. You had a tad bit of SatAM and I loved the bumbling AoStH Robotnik in there.

The way you portrayed Manic and Sonia was perfect btw. I need to ask though, it feels like you re-aged them, was Sonia the eldest and Manic the youngest in that? I actually thought it added to their characters more since they weren't treated like bland triplets. I really have to say, Sonia did have that older sister vibe going. And let me just say, the rest of the supporting cast was great. Shadow and Blaze were very well done. I especially loved the Sonic and Amy scenes. It seemed Amy's reactions were less childish than how she was portrayed in the main series/Sonic X. In fact, that bedroom scene felt almost like a gag out of goof troop or a show along those lines.

I'll watch this every Christmas as long as it's up, in fact I might even just download it and back it up to make sure I have it. Like others I was expecting something bad (nothing against anyone involved) and was quite pleasantly surprised. Good job to you guys who made this.

Eh. Fuck canon. This pretty much stuck its finger to canon, yet caressed it gently, telling it the changes it made were good. And, in fact, they were. Actually, Tails being a "single child" actually makes for more character development in my mind. (Unless of course you want to add a sibling. Heck, I don't care. I trust you two enough to make any canonical edits awesome.)

I'd love to see more like this in the future. It was a great little cartoon and it's awesome to see all the characters portrayed so well, through writing and voice acting. You really made them all shine, so great job!

I second the re-done AOSTH Robotnik theme. That was THE highlight for me, strangely enough.

Also the Sonia hair dryer bit was probably my favorite part of this. Some might not like the voice, but it matches the original closely.

Overall very good job.

Tails isn't an orphan in canon, there's never been a mention of any family at all. It was Sonic who found him as a baby in AoStH.
