Just saw the trailer....Sonic is ugly as hell, Jaleel's voice is noticeably a bit different now compared to AoSTH/SatAM, but I STILL got goosebumps of excitement!!!

Yeah, I would honestly struggle trying to sit through that film if Sonic looks like the mangy, shag-carpetted rodent that he is in the other trailer. Just plain ugly. I understand they're going for a real life kind of appearance, but who's to say he can't just have buzz-cut fur like in the recent games?

His mouth looks weird. It shouldn't be that long, at least in my opinion.

Wow, I did not know you could get Sonic into the uncanny valley like that. The creepy smile and weird spines and fur really ruins the model. Though to be fair, this movie already lost any chance of being taken seriously by me when I noticed that it's a live action hybrid. That and I couldn't take more than 15 minutes of the Mega Man fanfilm.

My expectations for this are as low as for what Kuta's fanfilm would have been like, though the same could be said for any Sonic fanfilm that would take itself seriously.

I dunno. The furry spiny-ness isn't a big deal for me, and the smile isn't that much worse than Sega's official art of Modern Sonic lately.

I'm just excited to hear Jaleel White as Sonic again, though.

Uhh... I'm not entirely fond of Sonic's lackluster pose in that poster. xD And his thicker fur and wider mouth make him look like a hybrid between Sonic and Donkey Kong, doubly so because of the jungle trees in the background.

But, anyway, I think I heard somewhere that this is supposed to be shorter than the Megaman film, which I think would be a good thing since they can get straight to the point. I might give this a watch. :3
