Interesting, I'm about to get to the enemies movements in my game (I also work with MMF2), your advices are helping. Thanks.

As for Sonic Mobius, everything looks like classic sonic games perfectly, but it's a bit frustrating to see the Aqua lake Zone's fountains without Aqua lake Zone. :v:

I am really liking what I see. The only thing that seemed kind of weird was when playing as Nack, not all of his sprites are finished yet. It's kind of like playing with a work in progress Mugen character. His inclusion is nice though. Hopefully your spriter will finish up work on him so you can add the glide animation, or if you have plans to tweak his movements and only use existing sprites that would work and be cool as well.

The physics seem perfect to me, so that is definitely a good engine to use for Sonic fangames. The level design also works well.

—On an unrelated note, what do you plan to do for special stages? Will they be accessed via Goal Ring, Checkpoint post, or will the game do the Sonic 3 thing and have bonus stages in the posts and special stages at the end of the level?

The only plan that I have is for a bonus stage, a spin-the-wheel type stage accessible from a checkpoint but there are no plans of a special stage yet. If you look around in the level in the demo, there is a chaos crystal piece hidden. Every zone will have a piece out of 7 to collect. I was hoping for something like unlimited super, zero rings required to morph after finding them. Rings will no longer be deducted while in super mode.

Everything in the tilesets were custom drawn by myself. After double-checking, you're right, they do resemble each other a lot. Should this be changed?

Thanks. I plan to fix everything and was thinking of giving him an umbrella-type thing or something that he can fly with. I also want him to shoot with his capgun to destroy enemies. Open for ideas.

I would like playing this, but it always forces a full screen! Is there anyway you can make this have a windowed option?

Pressing Alt + Enter changes to min or max screen. Here's your request. :)

MUCH better, thank you!

And I played it all, was great! The Super theme... IS EXCELLENT! :D

The zone shape seems to be more suited to a honey bee hive level.

I like what you got going here though! Keep it up!

No, of course not, they look pretty good. ;)

Just a bump-up since Sonic Mobius made it to SAGE this year. Here is the current demo edition if you haven't tried it out yet: EDIT 9/24 Changed soundtrack to original one used while developing the demo; New download link: http://www.mediafire...rax8m8z2r0qygac

Fixed-up some sprite issues the best that I could for what little time I had to work on the demo (Real-life work consumes us all) but it's not perfect yet. Removed super peel-out as well. Nack hasn't changed much since the earlier release, he can still fly and cling to walls, it changes the gameplay and is expected to change later on. Super-mode is enabled for all characters (for now).

Zone (Act 1) now has new areas, including hidden ones. I chose not to have parallax scrolling with multiple layers to avoid any slow-down and I really haven't figured how to achieve parallax in MMF2 yet, but we're working on it.
