Oh those Classic Amy ones are freakin' cute.
This thread is certainly fulfilling its purpose - I've never seen the majority of any of these.

While not rare this picture is hilarious

EDIT: Touching up two previously posted pictures to look even better. Just a sec...

Made the colours a tad more vibrant and coloured in his buckle. If anyone could make it so that the lines are solid black, that'd make these perfect :D

Classic Sonic artwork restoration project, go!

There's some cool old art in this thread. This past week's been great, we all seem to be reliving some of Sonic's history.
*Pic slightly edited for clean-up reasons.

Stop it you're teasing me... But if you want to, go crazy and vector all of those Amy pics and the Sonic pics. (If you don't want to ignore me)

Not exactly rare, but I think I should look into ripping the galleries from SMC and Gems, you know, for the hell of it.

This entire topic is a goldmine, I tell you.
Also that article about Amy is interesting. When was that published? It looks like they did it in '94, since it for some reason shows a shot of Sonic in LBZ and there's an S3 page in the same format. Either way it seems the magazine was doing the usual for the 90s and giving misinformation about stuff

The Sonic and Amy page along with the Sonic 3 page are actually part of the sticker book from the sticker book cover I posted. I just love that background used in the Sonic and Amy page though. The background was also used in other magazines as early art for Sandopolis Zone. The sticker book was made in 1994 approximately. I also love it when I find many Sonic CD magazines stating Sonic and Amy as lovers. :3
EDIT: You can really tell that the Sonic and Amy background art was very Sonic 3 inspired, the plants are drawn the same way the American box art cover's art is.

I'd love to have that Sonic 2 behind shot in a bigger version
, please?
Ken Balough has (had?) a big poster with that art in his cubicle.
I've seen that Super Sonic art before. I just wish we had a larger, cleaner version.
