Some people say that Sonic 06's Town Mission 4 music sounds like Flash Man's music. I kind of hear it, but the massive difference in fidelity doesn't make it easy.

Yeah, people keep saying that... it's a very faint similarity, and I had to think about it before I even made the connection.

I think it goes without saying that the similarity was unintentional, though; that's why it annoys me when people go around asking LB if it was. Damn you, Sonic fanbase!

3:32 to END - Dig the horn arrangement.

Brand New Heavies - Dream on Dreamer
[it's really only on this particular version, available on their Trunk Funk compilation]
2:00 to END - virtually the same horn arrangement.

Also, this suspected source of inspiration:

Released 1999.

Swing Out Sister - Icy Cold as Winter
Emphasis on "Icy Cold"; released 1997.

I recently learned to play Cyanide, by Metallica. As soon as I got to what I think is about 20 seconds in, there is a part that reminds me of the Egg Albatross theme from Sonic Heroes. After listening to them again, I can understand why other people might disagree, and it is only a small part of the song. It is probably just part of the style.

I don't know what it was, but this was playing in my list, and I thought I was listening to an OCR of Lava Reef Act 2. There might be a remix that's in this style or whatnot. It's pretty cool, you keep expecting the Lava Reef run to come in.
