Town Mission 4 0:30 ~ Flash Man 0:38. Otherwise, not a lot in common in my opinion.

I can't play Megamix without singing "but you still control the past" >_<

I think it goes without saying that the similarity was unintentional, though; that's why it annoys me when people go around asking LB if it was. Damn you, Sonic fanbase!

Sonic Adventure 2 - Fly in the Freedom [Theme of Rouge]
3:32 to END - Dig the horn arrangement.
Brand New Heavies - Dream on Dreamer
[it's really only on this particular version, available on their Trunk Funk compilation]
2:00 to END - virtually the same horn arrangement.
Also, this suspected source of inspiration:
Sonic Adventure - Limestone Cave [Icecap]
Released 1999.
Swing Out Sister - Icy Cold as Winter
Emphasis on "Icy Cold"; released 1997.

Wicked Child from the original Castlevania.
I mean, they're in the same key and have the same chord progression.

I can see what you're getting at with this one too, actually...

I don't know what it was, but this was playing in my list, and I thought I was listening to an OCR of Lava Reef Act 2. There might be a remix that's in this style or whatnot. It's pretty cool, you keep expecting the Lava Reef run to come in.

Edit: Alright, I found the OC remix that made this song remind me of Lava Reef to begin with.

By Mr. Lee Brotherton himself.

Oh well, it's good to have a music comparison thread handy instead of creating a new one.
So the other day I was going through the channels on the Italian TV and I noticed this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-iiDHTJa3c. That song has close resemblance with Tidal Tempest Good Future and another level from Sonic CD (though I don't remember which one because I suck at Sonic CD). Or is it just me?
