QUOTE (RGamer2009 @ Dec 10 2010, 04:07 PM)

I just realized something in the ending.
After the credits, the last scene is Tails inside the water chamber before he was rescued. The voice is the Tails Doll, talking about how he and Tails are somehow connected, and how he hopes he did Tails "no wrong."
Mind = blown

Makes sense, too. I had never considered that. Then again,
the title for that clip is "Tails", and I find it difficult to reconcile how or why him and the Tails doll share any deep relationship. It sounded more like Tails was engaging in a soliloquy directed towards Eggman about Sonic, but then why the creepy robot voice? Yeah. QUOTE (RGamer2009 @ Dec 10 2010, 04:07 PM)

But yeah, just an interesting tidbit. Also the ending music...is that random Tail's noises? Where are they from?
Sounds like Corey Bringas from Sonic Adventure 1 & 2.

Holy shit, how did I not realize this before?!
I still have my doubts about that being the Tails doll speaking, though. It doesn't really make sense.

This game is awesome. My laptop chugged a little bit, but it was fine. The ending had me WTFing so hard.

This is hilarious / awesome. But the engine wasn't that good for the platforming segments, especially how I kept sticking to the walls.
That's intentional, it takes getting used to but I quite like it.
Except in the
rising lava area, where if you jump too early you stick to the wall, fall, and die

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. It's OK for the parts where you're just running alongside a boss, but when you need precision, it can be difficult and floaty.

Downloaded, didn't get very far, but it's worth another playthrough. I will play again, but is it really just 'boss, boss, boss'? No normal stages?
Oh, and nobody likes furries.

The game is put together like Half Life, if Half Life had a boss every five minutes. No actual stages, but there is downtime between boss encounters. No enemies to speak of. There is one big stage later on, though, but that's about it.
Something to keep in mind: Oddwarg partly made this game for thinkers. Look out for any veiled philosophical or emotional statements he may or may not have tried to insert into the overall game.
His words.

Half-Life has many, many enemies to speak of, and really only one boss (unless you count the Gargantua or Gonarch as bosses since they have lots of health). But I see what you mean, with it being like one giant stage and almost no cutscenes or anything to break the game up.

I meant to say that EHF has no enemies to speak of, of course.

Yeah, that was indeed a completely WTF moment at the end.
Seriously, he becomes fucking badass only to fuck it up at the moment of truth?

Sorry to be a bother but I've tried a multitude of times to get this game to function and each time I get this:

If anyone has any ideas as to what the issue here is, please let me know. :\

Someone posted the same problem on the SFGHQ thread. Give me some relevant system specs and I'll post it in the thread for you. Trying to register takes days.

I have 2 computers, I don't have the greatest of budgets so a 1gb ram Intel Atom 1.6ghz based Netbook and a 512mb ram old 2004 Dell machine with Intel Pentinum 4, it won't work on either machine. I used to have an account on SFGHQ so whats with the extended registration? I haven't been there in a good few years.

Oh, if you already have an account there, you can post in the thread yourself. I'm just saying it took days for my registration to get approved. So do you want me to post it in the thread?
