Looks really really fun to go around in, especially considering that your engine is extremely solid and fun. Can't wait to try to this out or at least see it in action.
Sonic does look a little bit small but that doesn't really affect the game play by the looks of that video. One thing I'm curious about though where did you get your Splash Hill Zone tiles from? Did you rip them yourself or are they available on the Internet somewhere?

Anyway, Great job!
There's a low-res version of the level tiles on the Japanese website.
That actually looks a bit fun to play! Sure, it's a tad bit linear, but I'm sure we could deal with that.
Are you considering a slightly less generic title card? I'm sure you've impressed enough people to consider contributing a couple of things, such as given example.

Not exactly. I ripped decorations from there (bushes flowers etc) But core tiles and BG (except rocks from bg which I ripped by myself) ripped my friend Mefiresu from leaked Sonic 4 version (those one that launches on jtag'ed consoles) Here is his video about ripping materials from Sonic 4

This is going to sound crazy, but I'd really like so see some more voice clips in here, since you're going for the modern treatment. Can't wait to give this a play!
wow that's awesome :D classic gameplay with bits of Sonic Advance, Rush and Rivals! :'D and also you're great at designing levels! I loved the flooded capital the most. Can't wait to play it, good job! :D
Knuckles game play looks pretty interesting. I like how he has his headbutt move from SA3 without sacrificing his glide. His ability to grab enemies and throw them has quite some puzzle potential to it. If you add in his ability to spindash on walls from that same game (usable when his partner is Amy), that would definitely be awesome.
