Sonic 1 MegaMix.... god the music in that game makes me sick wink.png

For me the most annoying music in an actual SEGA Sonic Release is S3 Super/Invincibility theme.... Its a cheap and crap tune to play for getting all 7 emeralds and makes me want to punch something.

Also for some reason I don't like the S3&K Knuckles Theme or Miniboss... I think the S3 Alone versions of these are way better.

Wait...did anyone mention Sonic Jam for the Tiger Game.com yet? That barely even qualifies as music, it's just high pitched beeping noises.

Gonna go for an off-shot here, but the Angel Island Zone (S3) music now annoys me to death. The brilliant remix made for SSBB was first just overused by fans, but that track itself was still tolerable. However, I heard this terrible VOCAL version of the song on YouTube and I cringe every time I hear the AIZ music. It's totally ruined the track because I'm always reminded of the vocals and they start playing in my mind.

Worst of all it was one of my favourite tracks from the original trilogy! That is truly annoying.

Personally, I'm not a fan of Mystic Cave's music. I don't know why, but I just dislike the tune, although it does match the theme of the level.

Escape from the City with lyrics.

It ruined the much better instrumental version from the Trial, which had a guitar lead instead of Ted Poley's drunken rainbow rambling.

I'd also say what they did to Sea Gate, Seaside Hill and Rail Canyon from the production versions of the tracks to the final (added annoying echo effects, changed the drums to something that sounds awful in comparison to the rest of the song.)

On that note, Rail Canyon from Sonic Heroes was infinitely better in the E3 builds than the final game.

Does anyone have a rip of this? I can't find one anywhere.

I hate the "continue" jingle with all of myself. And yet it's one of the few jingles that never changed from Sonic 1 to Sonic & Knuckles. Sometimes I screw up in the special stages or in the levels (according to the game) just so I don't have to listen to it. Which is why I half removed it from soniNeko (it plays during the special stage itself, but it never plays in the results screen) :]

Aw, you just reminded me of the continue music from Sonic Adventure. It honestly creeps me out and sends chills up my spine for some reason. Ugh...

That's the first thing I thought of, as well. It's a little weird, but it's still good.

I was actually just talking about this yesterday. Totally thirded, I would LOVE a rip of this song. It's infinitely better than the final with the vocals.
