I throw out the Special Stage music from Sonic 1. Very annoying. Also not a fan of sound $10 from Sonic 2.

Hey, I liked most of the Super music! (Except Sonic 3. *shudder*)
And I am TOTALLY digging out my Game.com and using a microphone to record some of the music from Sonic Jam. It is GOD-AWFUL.
Doo-doo-doo-dadada-da-da...
boom-boom-boom
Doodoodoodoodoot-doot-doot-doot...
boom-boom-boom-boom
Oh God...
EDIT: Oh yeah, here we go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbD2SP37s3o Go to about 0:40 and wait for him to start Sonic 2.

Hill Top Zone.
At first, I thought "Ohay, this might be kinda nice."
Then it goes on, and on, and...ugh. Same deal with Seven Rings in Hand. Not the worst song in Sonic's musical history, but it's just used so many times in that game, that....gragh. It's not like there are many bad songs, it's just that some mediocre/short songs are used to death.

Sonic 3's was OK, but it's hard not to get really sick of it REALLY fast. The only super jingle I don't get sick of fast is the Sonic 2 one.
But yeah, Super Jingles get annoying anyway.

I hate the Sonic 2 Super theme. The whole thing is like one giant brown note to me.

Yay someone else shares my pain of a wasted 8 bucks. I like the box art but not the game inside. Using Tails is the only way to slightly have a chance at getting through the game. From a mainstream perspective on older games, I find it annoying when the 1 up track interrupts the cool music of a level especially in Sonic 3D Blast. It's so long compared to the Sonic 1 1up sound.

Hell, I dunno.
When I first played Sonic 3 & Knuckles on S&K Collection, I enjoyed the replacement tracks - but after hearing the originals, I honestly think they kinda suck in comparison.
Also:
It's "Supersonic" by Bad Religion. It's off their 2002 album "The Process of Belief". It's easy to think that they had Sonic on the brain when the wrote it, but I doubt that's the case.
BTW, You would have known where it came from if you had read the video description.

I could go super sonic
Is this some sort of fan song? I don't know where I heard it first but it's horrible.

Since S&K Collection was the first time I played Sonic 3K, I dunno if that made me like them more. I still think the Launch Base Zone one from the PC was better.

Huh. Launch Base on the PC is way too optimistic for my tastes. Actually, all of the replaced songs are, from what I recall.

They were all cheeried up if they got replaced in S3&K Collection. I find Ice Cap and Carnival Night to be better and more fitting than the originals, and Launch Base better but not as fitting (at least for act 1). Ice Cap on the MD version bugs me though because it sounds too serious for a winter wonderland.

The problem is that the S&K collection is blatantly unfinished and as a result is very, VERY repetitive.
