I'd love a HiRes version of this, it'd be a great desktop bg.

As long as the controls aren't wonky, there's good replay-value and the sights are nice, this could actually be an interesting game. As mentioned above, atleast they gave Sonic a car that fits his style.

Though, I will admit, how many 'racing'-related games have there been for Sonic? We have Drift, Drift 2, R, Riders, Riders: Zero Gravity. Olympic Games could be included in this category as well, along with the racing mode in Adventure 2. Got to admit, it does fit the style of Sonic's speed, so it makes sense for this kind of game to be made.

I'm surprised this game doesn't use the Hedgehog Engine for the graphics.

No, a Sega Vs Capcom would be better.

One thing I noticed about the CG trailer. The banner at the end of the level says Seaside hill. Perhaps they're remaking the Sonic Heroes level as well?

The trailer says that there's going to be a PC version.
Xbox Live too, so maybe there'll be online multiplayer?

Another game, another no Ristar. D=

I can see it now. And I LIKE the original Sonic car, it is a classic!

In a frantic battle to the chequered flag, Sonic and friends speed around tracks set in mediaeval castle ramparts, lush rainforests and bustling cities, all taken from the visually rich and varied universes of Sonic and SEGA. Fan favourites such as Dr. Eggman, Tails, AiAi, Amigo and many more will join Sonic in their custom built vehicles, revving their engines and jostling to stay ahead of the pack. Each character will speed around the track in cars, planes, motorbikes, and in Aiai's case – a banana mobile! Secret short cuts, swift handling and avoiding strategically placed obstacles are certainly the best way to get to the top of the podium…

But winning is only part of the fun in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing! Each character has a specific All Star move – such as Super Sonic, Banana Blitz and Tails Tornado – that allows a quick way for competitors to get back into the race! Power ups and weapons can also be collected around the tracks and used against the opposition to ensure they don't become a threat to that number one position.

Battle it out in single or multiplayer mode, allowing up to four friends to race in frantic split-screen action, or up to eight players to compete online in the ultimate racing showdown.

Can Amigo scramble Dr. Eggman? Will AiAi say bye-bye to Tails? Are you gonna be faster than Sonic? The race will start in 2010…

Oh, didn't notice that.
But the PC version part wasn't in there.

Hmm doesn't sound like that bad of a game. I doubt it'll compete with Mario Kart on the Wii, but it could be fun on other systems.

Sonic... In a car. Huh.

Strangely (but mildly) hyped for this game. Guess it's because it looks like the Mariokart Sonic never really had I.e. good.
The Viking better be riding a dragon here!

Capcom vs SEGA vs SNK vs Marvel would make the ultimate game?
This game kinda reminds me of Crash Team Racing, which was a good game.
