Let's Glitch Sonic 3 & Knuckles (Updated November 17th, 2009) or, Sega really should have tested the 2 player Sonic/Tails gameplay.

Here's a question, did you find most of these glitches on your own? Stuff like the goalpost-act 1 music glitch I've read about on the Internet, but other things such as the glitchy title screen were news to me.

Most of the glitches in that video I found on my own. The method of resetting of the Act 2 boundary I found based on a post someone made in this forum. The first glitch in the Angel Island video was something I saw in a TAS video. I knew about the act 1 music glitch before, but I didn't know that it was different between Sonic 3 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The tube rejection I've seen a couple times before (it took a while for me to get it to consistently happen).
And I think the last glitch/oversight/whatever is common knowledge.

Does anyone know of something like Windows Movie Maker that lets you compile different movies together but lets you save stuff at 60 FPS and is free? For some stupid reason WMM is limited to 30. The raw footage is at 60 so I'd like that retained.

Camtasia has pretty decent editing software built in, but I personally use Adobe Premiere for all of my professional editing—it should more than suffice for your own purposes.

Youtube was limited to 30fps last time I checked anyway, of course unless you want the 60fps video for other reasons.

Are you sure you checked? Because I'm pretty sure that's not the case.
Good god, these videos certainly make me want to get a genesis hooked up.

xkeeper's Link's Awakening videos were 30fps - look at his notes in the credits regarding the developer names. I dunno whether he captured at 30 or at 60 then Youtube chopped it down, you'd have to speak to him.
I however cannot recall ever knowingly watching a 60FPS Youtube video.

Haha, nevermind. I was able to create a custom profile for WMM that outputs at 60 FPS. Hooray.
...except now I need to learn how to upload it so that YouTube doesn't convert it to 30 FPS...damn it YouTube.

Youtube can do 60fps, definitely.
60fps video.
30fps video.
I chose these videos specifically because they quite visually show the major differences at their fastest points.
Plus they rack up as the two fastest Mario Paint videos at their peak.

Unfortunately this didn't work. Converting to XviD with those settings and uploading to youtube still plays in 30 FPS. Same with converting to H264 and uploading. I give up, at least I've figured out how to get the image quality better.

One way I know of is to upload an FLV of it. It should still work.
