Sally in direct bodily contact with another character really shows off how much she clashes with the game character's style. And wait, he's got a revolver with a barrel at both 12 AND 6 o'clock? That's awesome.
Also, I prefer Nack the Weasel as a name.

Lawl, Nack failed his cup check. >.>
Yeah, it's really ironic, considering the Comics Code, Sega and Archie have a huge thing about "No guns that can fire actual bullets" in the comics. Naturally, every gun has to fire lasers!

I don't understand why so much of the fanbase wants Nack to return so much. I mean, yes, granted, he had a pretty slick looking design, but outside of that his involvement in the series was marginal at best. Besides that, the idea of another gun-toting character entering the fray—bounty hunter with Australian accent aside—is extremely deterring from a gameplay perspective. Weapons weren't appealing when Shadow used them; why should Nack make them any better?
I guess this is just another case of obscure characters in a franchise being ogled the most. There never was much to Nack, admittedly, so I guess it makes sense to want to see more to properly judge the character. Unfortunately, I doubt he would make a plausible and appealing character choice from a gameplay perspective, which is why he hasn't been brought back from the dead swiftly by now. And he's pretty much Knuckles with a gun. =P

Unlike shadow, nack is not angst. Also he only imo would use his personal revolver instead of smg's and shit.

Maybe because SEGA had many opportunities to reintroduce the character and failed. "Hey guys! Here is a racing game set in the modern canon with machines that run on air! Even the Dr. Eggmons is riding an air bike! How crazy! Oh and Bean is here too guys, revamped for modern times! The magazine said so!" In fact, it seems with every new game there is a rumor that Nack/Fang will reappear in it. He's like, THE character when it comes to that stuff.
Didn't like some official whatever say that Nack/Fang was from another dimension? Now we have Sonic Rush Adventure that shows that Blaze's dimension is Australian themed, or at least the land where she's from. You even have to battle a main story character, albit in a race, for the emeralds. The Sol Emeralds were now 2D platforming challenges and upgraded boss fights. The biggest chance for Nack/Fang to come back is there, most likely in a Sonic Rush 3.
That and if Sonic X-treme was finished he would have had more of a chance coming back. I mean what if Amy wasn't in Sonic R? Would she still have had her spot in Sonic Adventure, where she secured herself in the modern canon and all future games?

I might be bias when it comes to Nack/Fang. Sonic Triple Trouble was my first Sonic game and the one that got me into the series. It is my favorite game of all time, not even the Genesis ones hold that spot.

I don't care much for the "lost guys" - 'cept him, it seems, so that says a lot. xD; Wouldn't mind him returning, really.

I think Fang is an underrated character, atleast Archie tries to keep him active somewhat, they even gave him a female counterpart in the form of a sister (then again, around the 100-125 issues, who DIDN'T have one?) named Nic the Weasel.

In relation to the firearm issue, I have the feeling that he carries the gun more for show and to cause fear more so than actually using it. Has he actually ever used it (even if it ends up firing a laser) in the comics?

In fact, he wanted to shoot Sonic, but instead hit Mina on accident. She survived, but was, last I checked, wounded pretty bad.

Then I stand corrected.
Was it a bullet or a laser though?
