Damn! you beat me! I shouldn't have spent the morning playing SADX:PC! :P

EDIT: If I may ask, what encryption was it exactly? Was there a needed key?

Fuzbuzz

Encryption key? No, I haven't even touched the kvq file. I let the program decrypt it for me :P

Which program? I use WinHex to look at hex and so forth, and it has no option to decrypt.

I think he meant Smash Pack 2, and did a memory dump. However, I'm still curious what encryption it was....I still have something to do! :P

Though, I'd still rather play SADX PC. What fun.

DOH. In my WinHEX, it requires a encryption key.

Ah. I see, too bad. You should buy a 3d card. It's a really fun game, course, I've never played it before, this was my first time. It may be boring to other people that have played other 3d Sonic Games..

LOst, that ROM you posted is only half there. What happened to the data after 0x80000 ?

I got a file which went right up to $1FFFFFF, so you must have a duff download.

Anyway, analysis of it in a hex editor (since after the checksum is fixed it just gives me a black screen) seems to indicate it's exactly the same as the final.

I compared it to the final, and found spread data, either exclusive to LOst's or exclusive to the Final. I have a picture, but it's on my other computer...

The emulator must have deleted it after the decryption :)
