Impossible to rip because Dreamcast emu's don't support ripping really. And high-poly? What? It's lower poly than SA1.

But what polygons it does have, it uses them much more efficiently. No oven mitts. :eng101:

I have to agree with Blaze, I've always loved the STF models, despite being low poly.

Not really. Sonic the Fighter is flat shaded. I wouldn't be surprised if the Fighter model had more polygons.

The fact that it's flat shaded let's you know exactly how many polygons it has. You can count them.

So keeping on the subject of ripping StF models, we may not be able to rip them from Dreamcast games - but Sonic the Fighters is part of Gems Collection on Gamecube and PS2, and I know it's possible to rip models from there.

Dami and I had a copy of some of the Sonic Fighters models actually. They're on my old computer though so I wouldn't be able to get ahold of them till this weekend. Dami might have them on hand though?

IIRC I think we had most characters apart from those hidden ones like honey and the eggman robot thingo.

Gems can't be emulated.

Are the Fire/Leaf models from the first trailer still in there?

Also, stadium rips would be interesting.

Well, those were basically straight pulled from Pokemon XD's GBA-linked Mt. Battle mode...

I know; their presence would be more interesting than the models themselves.

AFAIK, he has to get the game to display it in order to rip it.

Well, that's unfortunate.

Stadium rips would still be nice- as would Lugia/Ho-Oh.
