A volume change can deal with it really (think on it as a higher note on attack if you consider the phonems as notes in a song). And everything else has absolutely nothing to do with how written->spoken stuff is done.

I think it was pretérito pluscuamperfecto and it does exist in english.

Yo LO había hecho.
I had done IT.

and the "Tilde", well that is a problem..

Three ways to learn Spanish:

1. The stupid way. Pay lots of money for some Spanish learning course.
2. The Retro way. Have some people debate what is what in Spanish.
3. The kiddy way. My favourite... watch Dora the Explorer.

=P

yeah, specially when it's about OUR spanish, so, people came here thinking "Yay, I learnt spanish" and then start speaking like a translated movie , and then forgetting ALL what was learnt xD

PS: You better don't discuss about "learnt" I preffer it than "learned"

Even worse, like a movie translated exclusively for Spain and only with formal dialect, forget about making them talk informally. And even then in many cases they never get things right. When the native language is a romance language like Portuguese or Italian they somewhat get the syntax, but when their native language is English forget it (they always forget the articles - always >_>').
