I'm crying because I'm seriously happy! :) Somehow I knew Sonic (1) Megamix didn't die. And I think it will be in good hands by Stealth. Seriously, this made my day.
So yeah, good luck with the developement.

Now to the video:

I liked it, too. I thought it was awesome to have a "Loading Screen". And I like the "Act Finished" Screen :words: I laughed so much at the preferences screen because of "Tweaker Tantrum: Enabled"-- That's a good easter egg. And holy shit, a new boss!

Will the first boss still have 1 hitcount?

In the video the first boss needs just 1 hitcount to get to the next boss. That's the point. :P

Oh, so it will be like Dark Fortress Zone. Does that mean that all the other bosses will be like that?
And in the video it looks like Sonic could just pass the level without fighting the new boss.

My initial thoughts on seeing GHZ's boss killed in one hit. I knew to expect something new. The CDDA feature is great, and I lol'd at the Tweaker Tantrums option. =P

One question though, about that new boss, did you use some of FBZ's act 1 boss code as a base? That's instantly what I was reminded of. Overall, I must say, amazing work.

Tweaker Tantrum mode...sounds fun

Very impressive. But, joining the bandwagon, it does seem alot like dark fortress with the fake boss.. Overall, I'm glad that it is back.

I hope the layout of that one water level is fixed up, It's really odd for water to be suspended in the air like that, where some island can be seen in the background while underwater. How about original graphics for the GHZ boss? Maybe the Red ball with a sparkle that is seen in the prototypes. Also hopefully the music is remixes of the games existing soundtrack. It says that the CD soundtrack will be completely original in the youtube video.

I think I just joygasmed. Imagining playing Megamix with CD Audio on my PSP... Just, yikes. This is fucking awesome, giving extreme thanks to Team Megamix. This is great news.

So... Uh...

Tweaker in the last Megamix thread said:

Another question, this probably is gonna get done in some form I guess but wouldn't it be better for the ball to bounce to the right when defeated, breaking through a wall which'd get to the true boss?

It looks like the screen stops scrolling when you get to the 'pit' to get to the second boss, so you have to fall down the pit to continue the level.

Although I can't be 100% sure on that.

With all these potential features, will this game still be able to run on Sega CD hardware? If this goes through to completion, I may just consider buying one just for this... and Sonic CD.
