Sonic's Sprites, by deebs

I think it would also be a good idea to give credit to ALL the people on the side. I'd say just the ones you used the sprites by, but it's unspecific. =P

You're probably right, I just credited deebs, since that's who posted them, and I was told she made 'em.

If you mean why I didn't credit people for all that concept art, it's because that's just my shit.

EDIT: Nvm, I get what you mean.

Actualy, I could tell you just the people who made the sprites you used, but it would just be easier to do the first one in case you use more later.
That, and I contributed to that sheet too, (Nintendo_6444) and I'm a credit hog. =P

Can you post a video? I use a ppc mac and therefore can't play it.

To be quite honest...I don't know how to do that. This is literally just a .exe you open and play. There are no options other than "minimize" and "close". Don't you need like a capture card or whatever to take videos of what you're doing on your PC?

Now, I would get mad at all the sonic recolour avatars, but good job behind this project makes it almost forgiveable.

Almost.

Keep it up, guys.

Oh waaaah. I'm not particularly fond of fan characters either, but you don't need to be a dick about it. The fact of the matter is that these people obviously have skill with pixel art, and the fact that they have somewhat questionable fan characters does not change that in any way. There's no need for that condescending bullshit.

Hey now, I did say that I liked their work. That has nothing to do with their fan characters or anything.

But I still hate the fact that "sonic recolour #1253" still exists, and nothing will change my hate for that.

Atleast I'm voicing my opinion, even if it's hating people that may well not deserve the hate.

I have a feeling that this issue may be a topic changer, so let's not go any futher, okay?

No you just need some program like Fraps, or Camtasia Studio or some recorder program to record your own screen ^^

Just to add to your post, VirutalDub has a build-in screen capture mode, and it's free, unlike the other programs you listed.

It may be a little bit harder to get it to work, but atleast you can do it with a clean conscious.

I see.

I'll get around to it then, unless somebody who has already downloaded the "demo" and has one of those programs has time to do it.

This looks very interesting, and I'll have to give the demo a download. I'm also very glad that the Eggmobile will be getting some use.

I have FRAPS, but the download doesn't work for me.

Those sprites... look like what Sonic would look like in Megaman X6. when I was just glancing over it a while back, I thought what I'm assuming is the boost effect came straight out of it.

I love them. Personally, I feel they're a near perfect mix of Sonic 3's and Sonic Advance's sprites.

Looks quite good. Egg-Robo 2 Looks quite intresting in concept and design, though you'd better not SEGA on us and make Robotnik lose control of him.

Oh-hohohoho no, we won't. Don't worry.

EDIT: Oh wow, I didn't realize I was double posting. But yeah, you'll be in for a surprise.

New revision.

Sonic's Light Speed Dash (hit X) has been implemented, as well as the various shield powers (make sure to try out Metal's!)

Enjoy.
