I picked up a giant 4.5 foot Sonic plushie. It's green-eyed, and it as a real nice Sonic recreation. I imagine that he's literally life sized if Sonic were real. 40 bucks off Craigslist... I have no pictures, but I'm sure there's not too many 4.5 feet Sonic variations. Where does one go to buy such giant plushies anyway?

Giant Sonic plushes are so much fun! They come in 5 kinds: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, and a strange silver colored Sonic. Most of them were originally from carnivals, arcades, amusement parks, etc. as prizes. Sonic and the rest of them are a lot more common than Amy, who is also the largest at 4 ft 11 inches tall and 33 lbs.! A good place to get them is at Gameworks, a restaurant/arcade owned by Sega. They have lots of cool Sonic prizes at their redemption centers, including the giant plush. Here's some pictures of them:

The silver Sonic in that picture isn't huge, but they did make a giant plush of him (it?) as well.

Nice! I'd love to get them all-- the woman who I bought it from also had a Tails, but she had given it away (?!) a few months prior.
I'm going to check out Gameworks. I guess I don't need a silver Sonic (especially since I would spend my lifetime getting tickets for just one or two of the plushies...) but they're pretty well made plushies. I'd love a Knuckles, Tails, and Amy one.

My girlfriend (at the time >.<) won Shadow for me at Universal a couple Christmas seasons ago.
I have four different Sonic plushes though. One from '92 or so, a couple "Sonic X" ones, and the one that came with '06 (I got both the plush and the figurine, I used to be pretty tight with the manager).
I also have a Tails plush from around '94, and several of the big and small Sonic X figurines. Even Big and Froggy.

When I was younger, I remember buying a set of I think 5 sonic action figures based on Sonic Adventure, I ended up destroying 4 out of the five, I only have sonic left, still semi-intact.

May have been mentioned, but I was at Toys R Us and saw that Super Sonic is a retool, not a repaint. His spines are properly upturned.

Oh man...Sonic toys. Hah, a pity I never got many of them. I had some deformed Sonic head from a crane game. When I was young, I thought it was neat, but now, I see just how ugly it is.
I also had Sonic holding two rings while riding on a motorcycle. Strange, yet kinda neat.
Oh, and of course, the Sonic Happy Meal toys.
At home, my brother has two Sonic plushies.
But man...if they had only made that Super Sonic figure way back then, I'd have been one happy kid.

YES! In that case, I'll definitely be picking him up. Did they remember to paint his eyes red?

aaah, I used to have so many, but over the course of moving around, they're all gone
I had a bunch of action figures from Sonic Adventure's release, a load of burger king/McDonalds toys, and no doubt some plushies and stuff, DAAAYYYUM! I wish I still had some of those, I'd probably make a diorama or something.

Turns out I was wrong about the Super Sonic toy. The company making these things is doing it kind of weird... they have smaller figures and larger figures, both in the same packaging and with comparable articulation. The Super Sonic figure I saw was actually Super Shadow and he was one of the larger figures. They also have a Werehog figure and Knight Sonic figure.
