Oh yeah, that thing. Nobody knows what it's supposed to be, but I have a 2 theories. It's either an attempt at Nazo, or they just made a silver colored Sonic for the heck of it.

If it was an attempt at Nazo, the quills would have to of been spiked up and whatnot. Most likely this plush was just an error in production, Silver Sonic from Sonic 2, or it actually was "colored out for the heck of it".
On a side note, I don't believe in the whole Nazo conspiracy, it's just Hyper Sonic in my opinion.

It's probably just a silver colored Sonic. They were probably trying to do the same kind of thing as the "pale Sonic" UFO plushes. Those look like normal Sonic, but he's a cream color all over, even his eyes. Some people think he's creepy, but I think he's kind of cute!

Looks like a sort of reference sheet of all the super deformed figures.

The Amy reference drawing just looks absolutely weird...along with Rouge's.

Those aren't the "super deformed figures," those are called Qees, and they aren't by Jazwares. They're ridiculously expensive ($8 each!) figures that you can use as a keychain. You can see figures with normal heads here. By the way, ever notice one of the Mickey Mouse head ones has Chip's body?
If you want to see the real "Super Deformed" figures (along with Jazwares' other stuff), click here!

Wow, those heads look GOOD.
If they turn out like that, I'd pick those up just for it!

The heads looks absolutely amazing, but it looks like somebody gave Amy and Rouge a diet of cakes.

All the bodies are the same aside from paint, it's the style. Only thing I'm wondering is about Tails' tails, and other things like that. And I wish we could see Chip's head.

Hey does anyone remember the 1993 McDonalds Sonic 3 Toy promotional? I do and I still have a Knukles and a Sonic lying around somewhere. Hard to believe I was three years old during that promotional. It was a little before Sonic 3 came out. I know this because A while back I looked at the bottom of the Knuckles toy and the Copyright date said 1993. So most likely it was just a little teaser.
There were four toys if I remember correctly. A Sonic that Had a springloaded launcher and wheels on the base of the toy. Flames blazing under his feet too. There was some Tails Helicopter type launching thing. Tails was flat and was just a sticker on top of a piece of plastic. (possibly the most unimaginative toy in the set.) There was a Robotnik Wind up toy. When the toy was wound up Robotnik would roll across the ground in his Eggomatic. Finally theres the Knuckles toy. He was probably my favorite toy in the set because the bottom half of his body was a dust cloud while the top half was normal. When you moved the wheels on the base of the toy (e.g. rolling it accross the table.) Knuckles spun from the waste up. McDonalds has got lazy over the years because quite frankly their toy line is a lot more disappointing and cheaply made than back in 1993. (unless of course we go into the subject of Binoculars and Compasses in Happy Meals. In that case they've always been cheap pieces of shit.)
These toys are ancient and could be collectors items if left packaged. Good luck finding them if you want them.

Those 1993 Happy Meal toys are actually the most common of all the Sonic promos McDonalds did. There are always tons of them floating around ebay. The only one from that set that's even remotely rare is the toy for children under 3, which is a small rubber ball with a Sonic stock art on it. That one's a little less common because you actually had to ask for it to get it. You can see it here, if you're interested. You should look around on other parts of the website too, especially if you like learning about all the Sonic merchandise that's been made over the years.

I don't go to Ebay very often so it wouldn't surprise me any that I didn't know.

As you can see, the knuckles does not appear jointed at all, and who painted the eyes? He looks like a zombie...
Just make the eyes bloodshot, and it would've started many problems.

Does anyone have any updates on Jazware's upcoming figures? I'm really hyped for the Super Sonic figure.
