now all they need is a Metal Sonic official figure...

They have an official figurine, if that helps XD

I would like a 6 inch version though. Using the recent look no less.

Pics.

Here you go

I actually have one, yes the ears are mispainted. It also can't really stand on its own. I might paint mine a metallic blue though.

I got a set of four figures for Christmas when I was six. They came in an orange tin- 3 Sonic and 1 Metal Sonic. I remember them being atleast painted better than those above.

Those classic figurines are like a DS Sonic parade.

IF labs should make some fully articulated sonic figurines. It might work better with the robots though.

Actually, the one on the far left looks like Hypnotoad-Sonic.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread, but Jazwares (who did a fantastic job on the Werehog figure) are working on a Metal Sonic figure! They're also doing a line for Black Knight, along with an "urban vinyl" set. I have no idea what that last one could be, maybe chibi-styled figures?

Sonic being a straight up G, most likely.

It was a thread about the toy industry, some guy by the name of "jamaro" who claims to work for Jazwares posted there. Here are some of his posts (in order)

Quote

The good news is that the Sonic figures are selling great, thank you!
Especially Werehog, so that opens the door for us to make more new figures.

You guys have great ideas!
I love the idea of Metal Sonic!
I am a huge fan of anything robot!
I will definitely ask Sega Japan and I'll let you know what they say.

So, let me tell you what the plan is right now.
We have about 5 new sculpts and a couple of repaints coming.
One of the characters has never been done before.

The plan is phase out the TI figures with our own.
So that's where we will start.

On the bad news Sega Japan said no to Werehog plush.
Maybe later they will say yes.

Sorry guys I was in China /Japan for like 25 days...working of course.

Lots of great news coming!
We have a new exciting line that I think you guys will love!
After Toy Fair NY we will have tons of pictures to show.

And I listened...items you asked for are coming!!!
I don't know how many sculpts we will have to show.
We are pushing right now!

Hint?...His names rhymes with Wetal Ronic.

If you want to browse the thread, it's here

An online store is taking pre-orders for a Black Knight toy of some sort, and many seemingly reputable toy news sites (like this)have announced 3 new lines: Sonic and the Black Knight, "Super Deformed/ Urban Vinyl" and their own sculpts of normal characters. You can see pictures of themhere. Their Knuckles looks a lot better than Toy Island's! Besides, even if they really are working on a Metal Sonic figure, that's not a guarantee he'll be made, and it's still just a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm interested in seeing what Jazwares' new sculpts will be like because Werehog looks perfect!

I've been for a hoping for a Super Sonic figurine for quite some time, but I just did some browsing on the Super Sonic advert from the Jazzware one; no luck. If anyone receives any word on if it has come out or a release date, please post it one this thread.

It definitely hasn't come out yet, but since Jazwares is making their own sculpts now, a Super Sonic might be a reality someday.
