It was a thread about the toy industry, some guy by the name of "jamaro" who claims to work for Jazwares posted there. Here are some of his posts (in order)

The good news is that the Sonic figures are selling great, thank you!
Especially Werehog, so that opens the door for us to make more new figures.
You guys have great ideas!
I love the idea of Metal Sonic!
I am a huge fan of anything robot!
I will definitely ask Sega Japan and I'll let you know what they say.
So, let me tell you what the plan is right now.
We have about 5 new sculpts and a couple of repaints coming.
One of the characters has never been done before.
The plan is phase out the TI figures with our own.
So that's where we will start.
On the bad news Sega Japan said no to Werehog plush.
Maybe later they will say yes.

Lots of great news coming!
We have a new exciting line that I think you guys will love!
After Toy Fair NY we will have tons of pictures to show.
And I listened...items you asked for are coming!!!
I don't know how many sculpts we will have to show.
We are pushing right now!
Hint?...His names rhymes with Wetal Ronic.

If you want to browse the thread, it's
here
An online store is taking pre-orders for a Black Knight toy of some sort, and many seemingly reputable toy news sites (like
this)have announced 3 new lines: Sonic and the Black Knight, "Super Deformed/ Urban Vinyl" and their own sculpts of normal characters. You can see pictures of them
here. Their Knuckles looks a lot better than Toy Island's! Besides, even if they really are working on a Metal Sonic figure, that's not a guarantee he'll be made, and it's still just a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. I'm interested in seeing what Jazwares' new sculpts will be like because Werehog looks perfect!
