Today I called my TRU to see if they had any Werehog figures in yet. The lady said they had 2 boxes: One said "Sonic Werehog", and the other said "Sonic Assortment." I know that Sonic Werehog must be the Jazzwares figure, but what could "Sonic Assortment" mean. After doing a little digging on the net, this is what I found. Turns out there's a
Super Sonic and a normal Sonic. I'm definitlely buying both as soon as I can get to my TRU. (Which is most likely going to be on Saturday.)The lady on the phone said the Werehog costs 9.99, and the others cost 8.99. You can see them in an ad scanned from the Unleashed manual.
Looks like Super Sonic is a repaint of normal Sonic, because his spikes aren't pointed up like they should be. I'll post pics as soon as I can get my hands on them.

All of the figures have adjustable quills, much like the Sonic X super posers line.

I guess then you can do part of his TRANSFORMATION, a bit like the Soul of Chogokin Getter Robo.
Also for 8.99 hopefull the figures are a bit smaller(and come with accessories no doubt).

To me it looks exactly like the Super posers, not similar.

I hope that's a proto pic
Otherwise, I'll have to give it a mean face.

Have you ever seen a Sonic X Super Poser? I think that's exactly what they look like. They're actually pretty accurate figures when you get them, but they would look bad in a black and white picture. Although, as Aquaslash said, it could just be a picture of the prototypes. The Super Posers used prototype pictures on the packaging, and it wasn't pretty.

I recall seeing a werehog figurine in the other topic and I thought it looked pretty good; is this supposed to be the same one? In that case I'd be quite willing to believe the above, that it's a proto or whatever, cause they don't look the same.

Is it just me or does that Werehog's head look pasted on? Anyways, those figures look like crap, but hopefully it is either a proto picture or just look bad in B&W.

They have an official figurine, if that helps XD
I would like a 6 inch version though. Using the recent look no less.

Well, TRU was sold out of Sonic figures, so I didn't get Super Sonic, but I did manage to snag a couple of Werehogs. You can see (and order) some of the other Jazwares figures here:
http://www.toysrus.com/search/index.jsp?ca...r+Theme%7CSonic
Interestingly, Werehog seems to be the only figure with Unleashed-themed packaging so far. Sonic looks like a repackaged Super Poser, and Knuckles is obviously a re-released Toy Island figure. They don't even have Super Sonic on the site yet.
