Why though?
There is nothing "Genocide" about it, care to explain?

Do you not remember Genocide City Zone from Sonic 2? Of course you don't, it was cut. That's why I suggested naming it that, as a tribute.
Sonic and Knuckles also did it with Hidden Palace, remember?
You didn't get my point, of course, we all know what Genocide City was. But I was actually meaning how did you get the link to this zone that it had a reference to a "Genocide" theme?
Well...
We can still call it
Cyber City.

That would be fitting, and I would like that name to be used, but I don't know about everyone else. Either way it can't be done if alliteration is not allowed.

Alliteration should be allowed, if not for every zone. After all, we had Oil Ocean in Sonic 2, without such a naming scheme throughout.

I didn't think of that! So I suppose as long as the names have variety, alliteration or not, it's okay, but I think this should get back on topic. Wasn't it said that names should not be discussed until later? Speaking of those elevators on the previous page, I think they are good, but in a futuristic city like this, wouldn't the technology rely on something more advanced, like the teleporter tubes you see in S3K Death Egg Zone?

An advanced society still cares about cost. Public elevators are far CHEAPER than public teleporters, both to produce and maintain. Robotnik is just a showoff.

OH, I do not like that at all. I much prefer it how it was.

It'd probably look better with a grey forground, perhaps being a spiritual successor to Chemical Plant Zone. That's what I was suggesting anyway.

I didn't think my recolour was so bad! Oh well, maybe it isn't as good as the original.

Put it against the foreground, and get back to us. That sort of combination is not pleasant on the eyes at all.

I don't like that color swap, it looks really off when you wacth closely at the details on the buildings of the BG.
Besides, the Circus stage will have a crimson sky, I think it is enough.

Oh god my eyes
Though that recoloured background isn't awful, the original version's better and you'd need a recoloured foreground to match it.
Could also use a bit more contrast. I.e. darker buildings.

You beat me to it by three minutes!
Besides, even if we did change the foreground to a more fitting color, I think I like the previous palette better. The new one doesn't really reflect the stage's theme as well to me - all of the bright sparkling lights and stuff would look way better at night. Nice attempt, though.
