I'm the one who made that Shadow in Sonic 2 hack. You can download the ROM at:
members.lycos.co.uk/uanirk00l/Sonic the Hedgehog 2.bin (Sorry, the URL tags aren't working...) Patchers haven't worked for me either, but they used to... maybe I should try again, now that I have Windows XP and 98 (they're on the same computer, so when I restart my computer, I'm asked which operating system I want to use, XP or 98? It's useful, because I can still run Genecyst, but I have the advanteges of Windows XP! Cool, no?)

I hate windows XP. Fisherprise eye candy is all it is.

Oh, make sure your rom is in .bin format.

And try downloading and using IPS xp. That is what I use,, and it works.

Yeah. There are other ips patchers out there.... I just saw that just now when looking for one for SNES roms.

You mean SnesTool? It works for all the different types of roms out there for any game system.

Yeah, but I don't use DOS. I have windows XP, and it dosen't have it. I say: "screw it" anyhoo. ^_^

:huh: Don't worry, I'm having the same problem, and I'm using the American version. I've used Stealth Patch, Segatool, and ESE, and it all does that.
