Tons better, though you should seriously smooth out the grass on the slopes.

That Columns III tune is incorrectly ported. You need to set the pointer of one of the FM Channels (Dunno which one... FM5 maybe?) 2 bytes before that.
Other than that: Fucking Awesome

Setting FM5 back 2 bytes starts it in the middle of gibberish and serves to break the track later. Setting any other track back 2 bytes would start the track in the middle of the F6 flag from the previous track. No go.
...and yes I'm aware you had and fixed this problem before, but it seems our ports are different somehow since your idea isn't working...
Not that it matters, as that tune was just a leftover from when I worked on Pixel Perfect. Track 03 would've played during Marble Zone in Sonic 1, which was turned into a desert for Pixel Perfect. The track'll be replaced with something more fitting when the time comes to use it in a level.
Also, for those who didn't like the Race to Win import I did earlier, I've already imported a new tune to replace it. The notation's perfect; I just suck balls at voicing, so we'll see if I can get it sounding okay by the next release.

Why thank you for reminding me to finish the Race to Win port I was working on, because that sounds absolutely horrid.
As does all the music actually. Really need some better voices there.

Save for the music, every single bit of that was absolutely phenomenal. I do like the usage of NiGHTS music in the second act, though—too bad it was brought down by bad voices and such a weak percussion.
Superb work, and I'm looking forward to seeing more!

That background in act two is so simple yet somehow brings a whole new feel to the level, even though it's just a palette edit of EHZ. Impressive, really :D

Very early WIP of HTZ in progress. I'm intending to aim for a DDZ/ICZ feel for this level, a majority of this will contain new objects art as well as lava. Credits go to Stephen for loading and separating the art into SonED2.

It's contest time, so obligatory release.
Still the same levels as last release, only with music, art, and layouts edited further. Credits to Tweaker for music help (about ten times over) and ports, and all credits from before. I'll shut up now, because there's nothing I can say that you wouldn't find out by playing it.
EDIT: Holy shit, this sounds about awful on Hacktube. I strongly suggest just downloading it from the link there even just to try.
EDIT 2: Actually, it FREEZES on Hacktube. Works fine on Gens and Kega though. *headdesks*

Okay, I take back what I said in the other thread. This is one of the best hacks I've ever played. The art and layouts are absolutely stunning, the music is totally on par (no, I'm not tooting my own horn
), and everything about the game screams "Sonic!"
The tube-based loops are absolutely brilliant. I totally didn't expect them at all—great stuff!
