Really, it doesn't fit. Going by what's been done so far with characters, badnicks, and level art it would just look "other-worldly". We can't just throw in official art, objects or whatever in just because it's official. It must look right.
(OLD - ARCHIVE PURPOSE) Items, Menus, Title Cards & Misc Art Everything else that isn't character art or specific level art

If you're looking for something to remaster then I got a couple things you could mess with. Unless you're not looking for something to mess with, in which case ignore this crap.
You could:
A) Work on this. I really should just do it myself, but I keep putting it off for whatever reason.
If you choose to work on the platform you'll be needing this for reference.
B) Work on this thing.
C) The Tornado. Though this is lacking the jet on the bottom, we'll have to add that later, eh?
D) The starpost stars.
E) Pretty much any of the badniks or animals that are on the database. I'm not gonna spam a ton of images for those, though, so go find 'em yerself.

Knuckles' is the same from S3K IIRC.
In fact, I think the Sonic one is too. It's only Tails that had his changed.
