Thanks for making this it's own topic.
To start off, the 10.8 version prototype is the most interesting one. 11.18 is probably near the same as the Final version. By default, 10.8 has the Japanese language selected. But you can select the English language from the game's menu. And yes, there is a debug mode enabled in this build. I'm not sure how many debug features are enabled, but I did find one. Since this game doesn't want to boot up on an actual Gamecube (SDLoader,
), I used Dolphin x64 to take these pictures. Sorry if the graphic quality isn't the best, but at least it plays at near full speed. :P
Here are the screenshots (should've taken these in a smaller window size):
This little debug screen can be enabled on a stage by pressing L+R.
Title screen. Looks familiar to those who've played the E3 Demo released on the Xbox.
Main menu. Does it look different? The only noticable difference I saw was that in the final, you could highlight anything from any direction. However in this build, you can only hit up/down to move around this screen.
Team select screen. Notice how the position of each character is a little off from the final.
All the music/cgi movies are already enabled for viewing in this build.
Inside the game itself, some of the music is changed here and there. For example Hang's Castle (inside/act 2) is missing a guitar, some of the Versus mode tracks are WIP tracks (some of them sound like they came from a DS), and the "beta" Casino Park music that was included on the Sonic Heroes OST is used in here as well.
Hope someone else with better knowledge and time picks up this game. Would love to see if there's anymore debug features in this game.
EDIT: Christ, and I just noticed the "Screenshot" hotkey in Dolphin. I'll remember to use it next time, I promise. :P
