How would you redesign Sonic the Hedgehog?

Well, amidst much idiocy, I (and OSM with me, it seems) conclude that if SEGA were smart, they'd start a series of "spinoffs" per say with classic Sonic and continue the 3d games with Modern.

 

I've been saying this forever.

 

Perhaps a Needlemouse spin off series in the fashion Yoshi spin offs are to Mario?

 

Worth a shot, let's see how Sonic 4 does first.

 

Calibur's revision is sweet. It's like OVA Sonic rendered in 3D.

Now if only I hadn't eaten dinner so I could've continued the Sonic chain sooner.

 

They kinda already did it. Quite nice looking I might add.

 

Great work! The only other thing I'd recommend is making the body more spherical.
