Sonic the Hedgehog Cinematic Universe Thread (& Knuckles)

Not sure how I feel about Knuckles' voice at this stage, but that was a really cool trailer.

I really like Knuckles’ new voice. He seems like an actual threat this time; the fact he can just STOP Sonic in his ball form is also very, very interesting.

Dude, it's fucking awesome to see Knuckles being badass again after a long time.

 

I loved Knuckles' voice.

I hope that’s the Master Emerald. Seems like it is being in that temple.

I think it is the Master Emerald too.

Kinda weird to introduce it before the Chaos Emeralds though.

So the trailer confirms that this was a fucking lie.

 

Ya unless it acts like a guide or something to unlocking the others for some reason. They might have changed it a bit since the movies have certain differences.

 

Lots of Sonic Adventure references in that trailer. The SA intro, sonic chasing the cops, running through the fire tunnel in Lost World. I'm much more hyped now than I was before.

I like knuckles being cool instead of just a joke, but not gonna lie, I'm not sure I like his voice yet. It'll take time.

 

Alright, this definitely looks like a step up from the first film, but its not really giving me a vibe that things are gonna be wholly different. That scene with Sonic and Knuckles was perfect though.

Perfect way to establish his character; it honestly felt like everyone forgot that Knuckles is supposed to be strong and I'm glad that's being showcased.

 

This looks fun! Not sure how I feel about Knuckles' voice yet since we literally only got to hear one line, but I'm excited!

 

This is a lot closer to what I was hoping for in a Sonic movie. Seeing the human cast still playing a big role is a little annoying, but obviously you can't just drop them the moment Tails shows up.

It's almost weird to see Knuckles as a serious major character again, though. When was the last time? SA2?

 

Giggled like a maniac seeing & hearing Knuckles. It's like if the Boom design was good. And that line "Do I look like I need your power?", holy hell he's an actual antagonistic force.

 

Knuckles most certainly didn't chuckle.

It would seem the Japanese trailer has a different title: "ソニック・ザ・ムービー/ソニック VS ナックルズ" -> "Sonic the Movie / Sonic VS Knuckles"

 

'Sonic vs. Knuckles' almost sounds like Sonic & Knuckles joke for me, lol. I liked that JP title tho'.
