I agree 100% with you.. his main stuff is related to Nintendo products so another Sonic rumor will already put his claims into question.

I’m sure his lack of evidence reason will be because he doesn’t want to get anyone in trouble.. but at the same time he’s really playing with fire here since this is something that is wanted by almost everybody; if he ends up wrong, there goes whatever is left of his credibility (as if he had any to begin with for SEGA stuff )

 

Sonic's whoring himself out again, this time with something called Ulala idle adventure? No idea. But someone on YouTube pointed this out and it's kind of interesting. Sonic has an electrical effect similar to the movie so that might have been absorbed into the main series. Hard to say, but usually Sonic's interpreted as being associated with wind so it's something anyway

 

I can only assume giving Sonic lightning is a result of the Flash being associated with lightning, and being more in the public eye due to his appearances in both the CW series and the DCEU. I'm personally all for it, but lightning has always been my favorite magic element, so I'm hardly unbiased.

As for the video itself, looks like mobile game fluff, so I'll pass.

 

And so Sonic continues his streak of being everywhere except his own games.
Also the Forces inspired segment at the end is hilarious lol

 

Funny how there are already videos on Youtube about this. I think it's meant to be symbolic. (Sonic helping the cavemen with the power of electricity... I dunno)

Churning out Sonic videos over theories and rumors while using clickbait titles that act like they confirm anything is an entire industry at this point. I’m sure if you dig hard enough you’ll find someone saying that Sonic Labyrinth 2 is confirmed to be coming because of some new render spotted on a milkjug in South America.

I'm not sure if this would go here or if it really needs to go anywhere, but it's always a bit surreal hearing Green Hill out of it's usual habitat! One of those reminders that it's a Dreams Come True song more than anything.

All the YT comments seem to be the likes of "グリーンヒルゾーン!" so it's definitely had an effect, whether intentional or not. Now everyone's eyeing up some o' that green tea goodness

 

Because the other thread is now locked, my observations of Sonic the Fighters in Lost Judgement are as follows:

• Using the sfight romset, not schamp, as usual.
• Music isn't emulated, but is prerecorded, just like all other m2 emulations before it.
• Colors appear WAY off for some reason?
• Most likely no Honey.

New episode of Sonic Official in about an hour.
Maybe we'll get some game news...? It's unlikely but it's been a while since they did one of these I think, so who knows.

 

I don't think there's ever been game news in a Sonic Official livestream. It's not the best venue for delivering that kind of information.

 

I think that they've showcased a few very small things on the streams before, like some Mania and TSR gameplay. But not below similar footage was shown elsewhere first. All you get from the streams, at most, is very little specific tidbits that only the hardcore fans really care about. There's usually nothing though.
