So, after approximately a jillion years of delay, we're moving to a new forum system! Here's what you need to do in order to get ready.

Go remember your password. No, seriously, reset it or write it down on a piece of paper or something.

Update your email address. If you have an old email address, update it! Put down something you can actually access!

Fret about your avatar incessantly. By default, the legacy import we have for user profiles will actually import your personal photo, not your avatar. For example, if you visit my profile, you'll see I have a separate photo from my avatar. The new size for avatars is exactly 192x192px. You can, of course, just create an image with a smaller canvas if needed. Also note that you must upload your avatar now as opposed to remotely hosting it.

Fret about your signature incessantly. As of now, only Oldbies and above will get the ability to use HTML signatures. Everyone else will be on BBCode--however, my goal is to make that as accommodating as possible.

Make your list of people you can't stand. Ignore lists do not carry over, so go check your blocked people.

Pour one out for the easter eggs because for all intents and purposes they can't come with us. Sorry.

Join us in the year 2019. If you have an outdated browser, now's the time to update. With this move, Sonic Retro will go to full TLS 1.2 minimum HTTPS setup--basically what's been in use on Sega Retro for a while.

Take a breath. When exactly is the switchover happening? idk maybe 2-3 weeks, so think late June to early July.
