Guys these screenplay pages are an intentional joke written by Hitlersaurus. As if Sonic has Nike product placement in his dialogue, lol. He doesn't have an insider at Paramount forwarding him these. These aren't real. They are however still hilarious.
Sheesh, this thread reminds me of the Sonic 2 beta days. *fires the back on topic cannon* =P Did anybody save the page/pics for that "baby Sonic" thing?
It's pretty normal that no trailer has been showed, they usually get shown 5 months before the movie gets released. Unless it's something that has a lot of hype worldwide like what happened with The Force Awakens. I said this a while ago but I can see something being shown in May.
You know, there may actually be a genius to this. Think about it: by premiering a movie aimed at kids right next to Frozen 2, they've basically ensured that no one will see this movie. But what if that's the point? What if Paramount knows they have a turd on their hands, but are under obligation to release, so they're trying to bury it in obscurity? Maybe they're hoping no one will see the big steaming dump they've (seemingly) taken on Sonic? Doubtful, but I can hope, right?
Or maybe it's cheaper in a roundabout way to send this movie out to die cause they know it's not worth the money to invest in it's success.
If they're being strategic, they'll wait til the Avengers is off everyones minds to show a trailer. Or heck, the trailer comes out at that time and everyone going to see the Avengers will have to sit through the abomination that will be the Sonic movie trailer, while a lucky friend of their misses out on it because they're the one getting popcorn for the group
Sega and Paramount: Sees Detective Pikachu movie We can do that, Pikachu has Ryan "Pikachu" Reynolds (Canadian Actor), we can play two with Jim "Eggman" Carrey (Canadian Actor) "Alrighty then!" Result: "Oh". "Oh dear" Yuji Naka:
There were 2 trailers that made their debut behind closed doors on CinemaCon. https://twitter.com/ParamountPics/status/1113867496254132224?s=19 Apparently "Gangsta Paradise" was the song for the Sonic trailer and "Everybody Dance Now" was the song for the Eggman trailer. So we might see the trailer drop towards the end of the month or most likely during Detective Pikachu in May.
Sonic Movie confirmed to have riveting dialogue: ....if they don't release the trailer in the next 24 hours somebody's going to outright leak this shit, NDAs be damned. Based on what we're hearing there's no way they're gonna keep any footage/screenshots under wraps for long.
