The resolution is a bit too high for the Lynx - my initial gut feeling was Atari 7800... though now I'm thinking it's some wacky mode for the Atari ST. But then maybe the video has been pixelated slightly to put us off the scent - I don't knowwwwww :v:
I made a custom credits screen! It even reads text dynamically from a bincluded .txt file (because hard coding it seemed stupid and boring :v. That way, the credits can be effortlessly changed to include more people, fix typos, etc. I'm even considering wrapping it up and releasing it to the community. Protecting my crappy code is one thing, but giving people credit for their time is more important to me. EDIT: It seems I've forgotten how to embed things in this editor EDIT2:Thanks :3
You embed things by using http://. As for the credits, that's neat. I did basically the same thing in Knuckles' Emerald Hunt with a custom program that runs at build time and converts the text file to ASM macros the game normally uses.
Welcome back PacGuy! Also, awesome work! It'd be really cool to see a minigame in a credits screen. IDK why... I'm considering it if I ever get back into doing my hack. Something basic with limited movement in the same vein as Super Mario 3D Land.

There's still a lot of stuff that needs doing, so I don't plan to do another release anytime soon. If you really want to play some of it, I released an unstable demo about a month ago. It's missing a lot of features, and is kind of buggy though.
Choppy "re-join" sequence, need to free at least two bytes to replace with a better method, though. Just for prototyping purposes. Original concept by Eduardo Knuckles, pending a change to the collision.
Things I've been working on for the past couple of weeks. Hoping to bring my sound driver near completion soon, so I can eventually go and release it to the wild.
It's very impressive, but that cymbal has seen better days. Maybe a better choice would be to remove it.
I think your Sonic 2 CD Remix is cool. I always thought it'd be fun to see someone do the "Past" music by making it sound like the Master System's music, present as the Genesis, and future as CD redbook music. Probably impractical at best.
Good Lord that is some hot stuff right there. I love how faithful it is to the Mania style, compared to some hacks which just import a vanilla level map and call it a day.
