Either Sonic Forces or Sonic Mania is getting a GameCube port, and Donkey Kong will be a playable character. I'm assuming this is some sort of apology to Nintendo for one of their Wii-U exclusives ending up being Sonic Boom?

I like all the little details. The neon signs (Emerald 92, Starlight Ale), the Scrap Brain sash on the bartender, the hedgehog bathroom sign, Mario accepting an award on the TV, and an Alex Kidd toy on the shelf next to it.

I have no idea what is going on in that Sonic official livestream his week involving Barry from game Grumps. Was that supposed to be funny? I must be getting old..

 

It was a little cringey, but they've been trying to put some semi-scripted skits into the show recently with whatever that Jerry business was. Execution is always going to be hit or miss with that.

 

Except for the fact that based on the Sonic 3 & Knuckles layout, that's actually the 5th of the 7 (4th would've been the blue to the left of the green).

Actually, its not the position but the color of the emerald they are referencing. In Circus Park, it was the Grey emerald Shadow was after. While it may look like the Grey one is the one Shadow is standing on, it is the missing one.
