Welp. https://twitter.com/RubyEclipse/status/707985970138783744 Lock this thread up and throw away the key...I was duped. EDIT: LOS I will fight you
The fact none of us even for a second believed it could be fake speaks volumes about our position on Sonic Boom.
It's funny because someone at Sega spent advertising money on this, seeing how it popped up as a Facebook ad.
Conspiracy theory: Some intern *cough* quickly threw together a concept for a clone of Generic City Building App #7495 with Sonic characters and posted it to see what the reaction would be. :specialed:
The only positive about this would be if you could make Trashking Knuckles the mayor. Seriously though, I thought SEGA was going on and on about trying to elevate the Sonic series as a respectable one again. How does slapping Sonic on Tapped Out/Smurf Village follow that plan? Edit: Oh, it's fake and I'm a big huge idiot for not reading the whole way through. Well, this speaks volumes of my faith in the franchise...
I still want all those hours spent raising them back, Sega. At least this hoax was shot down quickly.
Yeah really, I mean, Sega, shamelessly perverting Sonic's brand in a mindless pursuit of immediate profits? What a ridiculous notion.
Jeez, a Chao garden game with micro transactions would be a dang money pit and I want one in my life lol
