I dunno. I thought it would be interesting if I brought it up, since we're talking about how Shadow is going to be portrayed in Sonic Boom. If you don't like it, I'm not gonna judge. Also, I just found out that Alan & Greg wrote this episode, so it's definitely going to be interesting to watch.
ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod! I REALLY hope they will not screw up Shadow in Sonic Boom. And by "not screw up" I mean portray him exactly like in the games - completely out of touch with reality, and being a living caricature of himself. Comedy practically writes itself with a character like that.
whos bright idea was it to reference the game/s if its a "the world resets after every episode" shtick AND the games fucking bombed?! Not to mention both games are some kind of parallel world to each other or some bullshit. Sometimes this series feels grounded on some joke I missed. It redesigns everyone (sort of) but pretends you've known these exact characters for years. And the ganes did that too, even though it sort of rewrites their continuity (is shadow a robot or not who gives a shit anymore). Just what the fuck. </rage>
Seconded. Shadow being the comically serious straight man to the lovable nonsense that is Boom will be amazing if that's the route they take.
It's nice to see the Nurples name has stuck. I wonder if anyone will bother trying to correct him? =P
He's absolutely brilliant, isn't he? The design and character work so well together. So long as you remember that he's a completely separate character to SEGA Knuckles, who I've always liked for different reasons.
Felt like they had a cool idea for an Eggman episode, then remembered that Sonic's supposed to be on the show and decided to fill half of the episode with Sonic doing whatever.
It wasn't the best episode, no. The whole thing felt like a bit of a mess and was kind of confusing. And again the lack in background music really stuck out to me.
Sonic Boom will air in Poland on teleTOON+. Called it! I was hoping more for Cartoon Network to get it, but still, called it!
