I just woke up and the first thing I see is this. The only response I can formulate at this moment is what in the flying fuck are they doing.
SoJ exec 1: "It is time to do another Sonic thing. (long sigh)" He quickly wonders to himself how much longer he has on this earth before he's granted the sweet release of death. "What do the kids like nowadays?" SoJ exec 2: "This "Anguree Birdu"" SoJ exec 1: "Okay good, have the intern make some calls. Let's go do lines at an American strip club." Then they high five.
Um, what the hell? First it was the Sonic Boom sequel and now its this. What is even happening at the minute? I feel like we're gonna wake up soon and find that this week has been some sort of bizarre dream =P
You know something is not epic if the creator has to put "epic" in the title Also Even angry birds titular bird is embarrassed by this crossover. Look at his face
I don't see an issue really, It's only a mobile game. Looks pretty funny actually. I'm guessing though that this is why we haven't seen Runners in the UK, dash is still doing well so why confuse things with another Sonic endless runner? Seems logical to only push the one that's doing the best/making the most money.
Update is now live on iOS, and possibly Android. To start the event off, you have to collect 100 Red tokens over the next week to unlock Red Knight.
I played downloaded and played Dash for the first time in months today, got 11 tokens and deleted it from my phone again. Boring game, dumb campaign. It'll work for it's target audience though. Seriously, Dash was more interesting when it first came out. It wasn't the best 3D endless runner, but it was alright. Now it's outclassed by virtually everything. I've been playing a lot of Lara Croft Relic Run. It's everything that Dash is, and so much more. Plus it doesn't have a crappy dubstep remix playing constantly in the background.
I see what you did there... For real though... WHY? Seriously when I saw this I thought someone here had made a stupid crossover hoax out of sheer boredom. When THAT is the kind of reaction your avid mobile audience has upon first glance... you know it's not bound for success.
