I can't believe it's been nearly a year. Too bad that I got "distracted" pumping up E02 to finally give it scripting support for Objects and Players, effectively opening the way for fully scripted games.

What else can I say? I think the images above do a good job of presenting an overview of what's inside..

    1) The Object Editor based on the improvements presented in SonED .50

    2) The Level Editor still in-tact, now with path viewing

    3) The new Tile Editor featuring the same, plus the Height Map Editor and Solid Index settings for Blocks

    4) The same for Sonic 1 (It works with both Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 data)

    5) The import from image options, featuring palette import and "Tile Rippers" to generate Tiles, Blocks, and Chunks from pcx images

    6) The various export options to create Tile/Block/Chunk/Solidity lists, Level Maps with Object and/or Solidity data, or even level files suitable for E02

What isn't shown is the new method of loading/saving individual data files grouped together by "Projects", making management of the data much more flexible by giving you complete control (you can manually re-insert the data anywhere, no automated system conflicting with other programs). There are also more editing options, including expanding/shrinking level size and object, ring, tile, and solidity lists, and insert/delete/flip/mirror/copy/paste for the various tile types

I figure there are at least a few people who will find this useful :P

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! ORDOS POSTED!

Heh... Impressive program, although I doubt I'll use it much... I've only just got used to SonED .50B, so I don't think I'll be changing over anytime soon... =P

Wow! SonED 2 has arrived! I was about to use SonED 0.50b in my hack, but always crashes (let's see if it works on my Windows xp)

    And if you programmed this...

Stealth?! Cheers for the new version! And good to know, a decent collision editor to use in SonED.

Yes... that's great, isn't it? I love the way that he controls the communities, with his fuckin' explicit honesty!

Awesome, I actually didn't think SonED would get poked any more.

Excellent program, Stealth. The only problem I've hit so far is having to merge the two split GHZ 8x8 pattern files into one file by hand, and that's hardly a problem at all. =P This will be greatly useful to anyone using split disassemblies for their hacks.

That's brilliant. I've always wanted a proper 256x256 tile editor, so this saves me having to make my own.

Just a question -- how to use the program? I can't open ROMs. It says "Open SonED project". Is SonED2 made to continue projects started with SonED?
