Sonic Boom TV Show Megathread

He obviously ate the master emerald. How else would he have his current body type?

 

Angel Island reference was cool. Unexpected and likely insignificant, but it was simply nice to hear it.

 

Personal trainers hate him.

 

That definitely goes down as one of my favorite jokes in Sonic Boom.

 

That is amazing.

 

I wonder if we're gonna see any more of T.W. Barker now.... I like that Sonic Boom has been including silly, one-off villains, like him and the Nack-like Weasel Bandits in addition to Eggman for the crew to deal with.

I also like that they name-dropped the Motobugs. It was a nice touch, kinda like the Angel Island thing last episode.

 

Ya I just love that line.

The Gogoba Chief had a short appearance in Eggheads too, when Sonic was watching TV just before Orbot asked for help.

 

I am really enjoying how well the T.V. series is going so far. Good solid humor a majority of the time for what it is.

Loved that.

 

I've been really enjoying the show so far. Eggman has been the highlight of just about every episode but Knuckles has had his moments. I'm not sure if I would go so far as to say it is my favorite Sonic cartoon considering the show is far from being halfway done. I don't even think the halfway point is for another three and a half months assuming it continues its current pattern of one segement per week. It's certainly better than Sonic Underground and Sonic X but to be fair that's not saying much.

If anything this may be the best Sonic cartoon in a long time in my opinion. The animation has been impressive, the humor has been well done and surprisingly not cheesy as I expected, and the voice acting is probably the best Sonic has had in a long time. I want to say that this is the best Amy Rose voice in ages. In fact Amy as a whole, personality and voice, is perhaps the best Amy I've seen. Not obsessed with Sonic, not overly emotional about everything, just a generous girl with an open mind on things. It works so well.

I don't want to jump to conclusions yet. There's still a lot to go. Plus not every episode has been superb and there are occasional animation hiccups. Despite that there's definitely more good than bad. I went into this show with cautious optimism as I do with every Sonic game. Unlike the games I wasn't disappointed this time.

I go to watch it everytime that I can. Sonic boom became my favorite Tv Show.

I was discourged with Sonic X and other series were too dark. This one is actually making me laugh, and its actualy the only Sonic series that I have really pride to show to other people.
Honestly my most favorite character in the series, is Knuckles. I was never interested into Knuckles back than, but now I see him from a total different angle.

 

I need that refrigerator to be explained. Refrigerators usually don't fall from the sky like that.
At least not where I'm from.
