Best Sonic tune?

Sonic Adventure: Big's Theme Song as well as the various boss music... well, that's basically my favorite music are all boss music in most of the games in the long series.

I also happened to like both Beta and Final music versions of Hidden Palace Zone (Sonic 2, of course).

Umm... What are you thinking, because the past music is the same for both Japanese and American. You have the good future music for Japanese, I believe, connected to that link.

A little bit of trivia:
You know, a song by Manfred Mann's Earth Band entitled Tribute (by Manfred Mann, released in 1971 on the self-titled album) sounds a hell of a lot like the music for Tidal Tempest (JP). The Rippington's song Moonlighting sure resembles Little Planet (JP). The music for the S3 special stages is similar to the theme from the anime Dual! Carnival Night (I think), Starlight, and Green Hill (S1) were based on songs extant then. It would not surprise me if the music for the S&K collection (PC) version of Ice Cap was based on the music from Crystal Egg from GG S2.
