I seen 5 versions of Sonic Crackers on ROMnation.NET. Sorry if this is old, though. ;-) Here goes:

Sonic and Crackers (beta) 419 kb
Sonic and Crackers (beta) [h1] 402 kb
Sonic and Crackers (beta) [h2] 428 kb 4.67/5 (3 votes)
Sonic and Crackers (beta) [h3] 402 kb
Sonic and Crackers (beta) [o1] 1.03 mb 5/5 (2 votes)

EDIT1: More ROM builds on this site: http://www.romnation.net/srv/roms/genesis/s.html
EDIT2: Very rare roms there. (ie. Sega Channel and Sega demos)
EDIT3: DO NOT VOTE! JUST DOWNLOAD! ;-)

This is probably the "proper" version.

Also, there's no such thing as a rare ROM. A ROM is just a file, which can be duplicated ad infinitum.

Yeah, I've got all those roms. In fact, just recently I finished my set, so I have the complete romset for megadrive. *looks in folder* It seems that there is 5 versions in my folder, too. Is there any difference to them? (Other then the overdump?)

    EDIT:
It can't be. its the overdump.

What about SegaChannel? I know about it, but it says that it cannot find the cable, or something. Do I need a Game Genie code or an add-on for Gens+ for it to work?

Even if you hacked it so it passed the cable check, it wouldn't do anything. It needs to log in to a Sega Server, which it can't do

    1. It isn't around anymore
    2. Its within the emulating limits of Gens

The 2Mb overdump contains the supposed voice data, along with a Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles prototype. It's exactly what was on the cartridge; the 'real' 1Mb version contains only Crackers, leaving the TMNT and other shizzle out.

If the overdump is the one with voices, then perhaps that voice is a DAC sample. I'll download the overdump and see if I can can get a better rip of the sound.

But, how can the [o1] version be the overdump if it says 1.03MB?
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm being stupid. It's archived :-P. BULUBULBULBULBULBULB!

GoodGen is a semi-reliable ROM naming tool, not a crystal ball. According to the Crackers header, the ROM should be 2Mb, which would make the so-called "overdump" the real ROM.
