You did not you dick. (Unless he considers Biolizard and Finalhazard the same thing, which makes sense :P)
Just telling anyone that has Online Mode crashes on the PC version, DustArma just told me in IRC (this is already known) that the game will crash loading online mode if you have more than 100 STEAM friends. I deleted people who I haven't talked to in forever and it now works fine.
I just traded in my 360 copy of Generations to GameStop. They gave me $24, which I figure is pretty freakin' okay, considering that GameStop and many other places are gonna mark it down to $29.99 on Friday. And I have the PC version anyway, so it's not like I'm ever gonna touch the 360 version again. Spoiler Though I will miss Casino Night and seeing the Genesis in the HUB world. The REALLY dirty thing about this is that I traded it toward Super Mario 3D Land. I was going to get Generations 3DS, but after seeing the videos here... eh, it looks OKAY, but I can wait 'til it's cheaper. Also, the people at GameStop now call me "Sonic Guy" since I got 'em to give me some of their in-store advertising. I'll take some pics if anyone's interested.
Well the steam autumn weekend sale has started and strangely the only game that escaped getting a discount was Sonic Generations. http://store.steampowered.com/publisher/SEGA IN other news, I've 100% the PC version, where's my cookie (S-Ranks for all except missions)
It's in my stomach, because I 100%'d the game 3 days after it came out for the 360. You're not special
Apparently from what I've seen in walkthroughs, and from what I've heard from people who've played the game, classic Sonic's physics in Generations....are actually pretty close to the original physics. Much better than classic Sonic's physics in the HD version, actually. He actually picks up speed when rolling up and down ramps, and bounces like a pinball off of bumpers. Too bad the level design in later levels apparently doesn't try building on this in favor of the classic Homing Attack instead.
It's normal that recently released games don't go on sale on Steam. If they did put it on sale, people would probably be pissed off. (see: Super Meat Boy being 75% off a few weeks after it was released)
Right-O. It's a bit of a shame too, he really does feel more like a tried-and-true Classic Sonic than his HD counterpart. I do miss having the one-button Spin-Dash though, the 3DS's circle pad and D-pad seem a little...inaccurate. I dunno if it's my big thumbs or what, but he usually takes a few steps and rolls instead of crouching like I want him to. I'm gonna make an effort to walk around with this thing in sleep mode so's I can unlock the missions. Perhaps that might unlock the Super Sonics, because the L button has to be used for something if you get a rejection noise for pressing it at any time during gameplay.
Wow 3DS classic Sonic is actually accurate? Maybe they'll use these skills to make Sonic 4 Episode 2 good. So it's just been a relearning process. Sonic 4 was the first attempt, Sonic Generations console was the second, and 3DS the third. Perhaps they're learning, and hopefully Sonic 4 Ep 2 will be accurate.
Green Hill in one hand. (I know that's not an "excuse" for such simplification, but the rest of the game is not bad as that.)
!!!!! Made a rip awhile ago: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/sonic-colors-original-sound-version-game-rip-82412/ http://www.mediafire.com/?r5xe6p8ld5ukup4 (Part 1) http://www.mediafire.com/?2kae4z0is5x82ds (Part 2)
PC version brah. (At least, that's the most accurate possability, I believe) Actually, it's the secret Wii U port
