Sonic Generations Megathread

That would be awesome.

Or maybe it's Greedy from Ristar. Because that soundtrack deserves awesome remixes, too.

 

I actually wrote a treatment for a script as an exercise that had a similar plot to that, it was pretty much the SEGA equivalent of Who Framed Roger Rabbit where all the SEGA characters were actors. Except Sonic was the villain and Alex Kidd was the hero.

 

I would be pissed at the fact that Eggman is once again being one-upped by an all-powerful being, but instead I'm going to hold on to delusional hope that it is still related to Eggman seeing as it has a crapload of gears powering it and has lighter purple above its mouth that ever so slightly resembles a moustache. A man can dream, right?

That said, this is an anniversary game, so its only fitting that Eggman plays second fiddle to a larger villain, seeing as he's been doing it for some 13 years of his 20 year lifespan now.

 

I think the cogs and gears have something to do with clocks, not to power it.

 

Pretty sure it's already known around here (or not to some people), but yeah, Sonic won an award at the Golden Joystick awards.

The reason I decided to post this? Look at the picture on the page:

Really hoping Sega makes that a wallpaper; would love that on my desktop.

 

Which is why I've never heard of them before, clearly.

 

Not sure if sarcasm, but it really is a coveted award.

 

On that BBC page, what stage is the jigsaw thing showing? Do we know this one?

It's showing Arid Sands, Unleashed Wii. We know all the stages.

So apparently at the Golden Joysticks Awards there was a new Sonic Generations trailer featuring Super Sonic.

Guess that might be coming online soon. Strange thing to showcase in a trailer.

 

Huh. We had no clue Super Sonic was going to be in Colors until after the fact, right? Why would they shut up about it this time, then proceed to showcase it in a trailer?

 

Because HYPER Sonic is going to be the secret. :v:

 

Thanks for replying. They only seem to have the PS3 version available. It seems as though I may have missed out, unless I take a chance with an overseas site and pay more. It's already expensive for what it is though! Don't suppose anyone else knows of anywhere with the 360 UK version available to pre-order?

 

You know what I mean :P We know all the console stages. That's simply a screenshot from Unleashed Wii, though it could be anything unrelated to Generations for all that it matters.

 

So wait, we can expect there to be a new trailer coming up soon? How soon? What's left to showcase besides the final boss?!

That could be trailer in itself as well as Super Sonic.
