WIN. Would have been cool to see him run around other levels and see him gradually get less fat...and possibly use that beta victory jump sprite at the end...but what you have here is good too. :P
I came to this thread to say how awesome this hack is, and then found Chimpo's video. It's too much win for one thread.
Stan Bush's Fight to Survive would be excellent for a multi-level one, ending with Sonic bitch smacking Robotnik in Death Egg at the end.

An Idea: If sonic somehow manages to get to the ending as a fat guy, break the plane when he lands on it. Also its not fair that tails eats onion rings for sonic. But overall awesome hack! This could win a few trophies. Edit 2: Oh and when sonic is underwater and fat, he should lose more air.
I love the fact that, even though this is just for laughs, that so much effort went into it. His animations are hilarious. I love how, the fatter he gets, the less effort he puts into looking up and down, until he just sort of gives up. Come to think of it, it's also a little disgusting, too. But the hilarity trumps the disgust in this case, I think.
I think you should do a sprite sheet for the Tails only game. (and during Sonic and Tails games just to punish him for getting in the way all the time. >:D ) That would be the shit. That being said, I very much enjoyed this hack. I hope for more updates to this hack. I know it was meant to be just for lulz but I very much feel it could be progressed forward even more.
